BEST OF 2018
JAMES ANDREW PHOTOGRAPHY 2018
Happy new year! That’s it 2018 done and what a year it’s been. I have met so many lovely couples along the way, shot at gorgeous venues old and new, and been lucky enough to tell your wedding stories with my camera.
Although this is called a “best of” blog, there were so many more images I wanted to include, but I have tried to keep the slideshow under 2 minutes…
120 seconds of natural, creative, story telling. A mix of documentary photography showing real moments on a wedding day and some awesome posed portraits capturing the love between a couple.
In essence this is exactly what I do on a wedding day, capture photo’s full of love, laughter and emotion. To tell the story of your wedding in a natural creative way.
In 2018 I have travelled the country, shooting at venues in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire and further a field. I was even fortunate enough to shoot a wedding in Portugal this year!
My weddings included an intimate ceremony at a manor house with less than 30 guests and even a wedding with more than 300 guests in private garden marquee.
The sun has shone, the rain has poured and the wind even blew Kaz’s veil off! I’ve drank buckets of tea and worked my way through lots and lots of Haribo (the cola bottles are my favourite).
Usually wearing my favourite Burgundy shirt and always with my trusty pair of Sony A7R camera’s!
I have had the pleasure of working alongside some of the very best wedding suppliers around, from florists to venue dressers, make up artists and hair stylists, not forgetting the amazing bands and entertainers.
This year I have also worked with some amazing photographers with a special mention going to my good friend Jess Yarwood, who will be shooting our wedding in 2019 (more on that in a moment)…
I have worked at some incredible venues including, The Ashes, Weston Hall, Hoar Cross Hall, Mythe Barn, Heath House, Moddershall Oaks, Dunwood Hall, Quarrybank Mill, The Three Horse shoes and Canico in Portugal.
There are so many people to thank that I can’t name them all, but thank you, you made 2018 awesome!
Looking ahead to 2019, I can’t wait to meet everyone that has booked me for their big day. This year will be even more special as Katie and I will be having our very own wedding in the summer at The Ashes Barns!
I wouldn’t be able to do such an amazing job without my incredible couples. Thank you for choosing me to capture your day and thank you for the brilliant feedback and reviews .
So here it is, my 2018 “best of” slideshow. Click on the video below and enjoy! James
